Brunello di Montalcino

Dog bites Brunello: rare Japanese dog reviews Fattoria dei Barbi 2011, awards “4 out of 5” bones.

There’s a first for everything.

Man bites dog. Dog bites Brunello…

We were pleased to discover Shiba Sommelier’s blog and review of our 2011 Brunello di Montalcino. Shiba Sommelier (above, with Easter Bunny) is a Shiba Inu who lives — we believe but are not certain — in Park Slope, Brooklyn (we speculate Brooklyn because there is mention of the borough’s beautiful Prospect Park).

As we were saying, dog tastes Brunello:

4/5 bones

Happy Easter, everybody! I’m sharing a tipple of Brunello with my pal, the Easter Bunny. Loads of cherries, anise, and whiffs of tobacco on the nose and palate. Full and perfumed with floral notes as well as some brown baking spices. Could age a bit more but very drinkable now.

You read it here first, folks!
