Tomorrow marks the beginning of the celebration of the
patron matron saint of Montalcino, the Festival of Our Lady of Perpetual Hope (or Succour).
While the festival technically began late last month, the events really start tomorrow morning and last through May 12, with the majority of the events, including musical performances and other performances on Monday, May 8.
It’s a great time to be in Montalcino, especially the festival also marks the arrival of springtime, one of the most beautiful seasons in Tuscany.
